Since Covid started we all have all seen the "FACT CHECK" warnings on social media like Facebook, Twitter, etc. But many people have been outspoken about the accuracy of these censorship tools. Lets look at this recent case.
CASE ONE
Dr. Roger Hodkinson is the former Chairman of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons committee in Ottawa, he was once CEO of a large private medical laboratory in Edmonton, Alberta, and for the past 20 years has held the position as Chairman of a Medical Biotechnology company based in North Carolina currently tasked with selling a COVID-19 test. He is a medical specialist in pathology, which includes virology, who trained at Cambridge University in the UK — he is perfectly positioned to speak on this topic.

Canadian Doctor on a Alberta Government public hearing, blasts back at government officials. Video is below.
His statements include the following:
“Masks are utterly useless. There is no evidence base for their effectiveness whatsoever. Paper masks and fabric masks are simply virtue-signaling. They’re not even worn effectively most of the time,” said Hodkinson.
"There is utterly unfounded public hysteria driven by the media and politicians. It’s outrageous. This is the "greatest hoax" ever perpetrated on an unsuspecting public."
“Closures of schools and businesses have had such terrible consequences" “Positive test results do not mean a clinical infection."
“All that should be done is to protect the vulnerable.
“Masks are utterly useless” “There is no evidence base for their effectiveness whatsoever.
Hodkison concludes with some advice for policy makers in Alberta: “Let people make their own decisions. You should be totally out of the business of medicine. You’re being led down the garden path by the chief medical officer of health in this province. I’m absolutely outraged that this has reached this level. It should all stop tomorrow. Thank you very much.”
SNOPES: immediately FLAGGED all content using this information calling it "MISLEADING" and on Social Media it was coming up as "FALSE INFORMATION".
Lets see what their reason is........
At no time did Dr. Hodkinson EVER say he was Chairman of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. But this content was flagged as MISLEADING/FALSE.
Further how does that make it so that he did not say "This is the "greatest hoax" ever perpetrated ".
They make you think he did not say it, when in fact he did. Then they make up another reason, which is not true and totally irrelevant to what they "headline as incorrect".
In fact YouTube was deleting accounts that posted this video. The video has since been reposted by other accounts.
This is how SNOPES works, if they find anything incorrect, even if it is irrelevant, the content is flagged. Further is they find the content goes against the narrative of their views, it's FALSE as in this case.
"FACT CHECK" is only a assertion of their opinion. They have no authority or credibility in any matters. Always check content for yourself and NEVER rely on "FACT CHECK" censorship.
