Public Relations Canada Inc. (PRC Alberta Inc.) is a privately owned Canadian business media network, founded in 2011 and based in Calgary, Alberta. We operate the PRC platform at publicrelationscanada.ca and publicrelationscanada.com.
What We Collect
When you submit a request through our Classifieds™ form or contact form, we collect the information you provide — including your name, email address, phone number, city/province, and your stated service need. This information is used solely to connect you with verified Canadian professionals on our network.
We also collect anonymized, aggregate analytics (page views, session counts) to understand how our platform is used. We do not sell, share, or rent your personal information to third parties.
How We Use Your Information
- To match you with verified Canadian professionals (Classifieds™ requests)
- To respond to your inquiry (Contact form submissions)
- To deliver published media content you paid for (Press Room clients)
- To improve platform performance and user experience
Data Retention
Contact and match request data is retained for up to 24 months for record-keeping and follow-up purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.
Cookies & Analytics
We use basic, privacy-first analytics to track aggregate usage (page counts, session duration). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. We do not participate in ad retargeting networks.
Third-Party Links
Our platform contains links to third-party websites (event ticket vendors, external media). PRC is not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
Your Rights (PIPEDA)

Refund Policy
Publishing Services (Press Room)
All published content (press releases, feature articles, event listings) is considered delivered upon live publication on the PRC platform. Refunds are not available once content has been published.
If your content has not yet been published, please contact us within 48 hours of purchase to request a revision or cancellation. We will work with you in good faith.
Classifieds™ Match Requests
Classifieds™ is free for clients. There is no charge, and therefore no refund applies.
Declassified™ Membership
Declassified™ subscriptions are billed in advance. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial months.
Disputes
If you believe you were charged in error or have a concern about your service, please contact us directly. We resolve disputes within 5 business days.
